Bisimulation of Dynamical Systems
A general notion of bisimulation is studied for dynamical systems. An algebraic characterization of bisimulation together with an algorithm for computing the maximal bisimulation relation is derived using geometric control theory. Bisimulation of dynamical systems is shown to be a concept which unifies the system-theoretic concepts of state space ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Bifurcations in a Model of Criminal Organizations and a Corrupt Judiciary
Let a population be composed of members of a criminal organization and judges of the judicial system, in which the judges can be co-opted by this organization. In this article, a model written as a set of four nonlinear differential equations is proposed

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Breaking reflection symmetry: evolving long dynamical cycles in Boolean systems
In interacting dynamical systems, specific local interaction rules for system components give rise to diverse and complex global dynamics. Long dynamical cycles are a key feature of many natural interacting systems, especially in biology.

Backward bifurcation on HIV/AIDS SEI1I2TAR model with multiple interactions between sub-populations
The HIV/AIDS model was dynamically analyzed in this study. The model has seven compartments: the uneducated, the educated, the HIV-positive who take antiretroviral therapy (ART), the HIV-positive who do not take ART, people receiving ART treatment ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.
