Nonlinear Dynamic Response of Elastic Slider-Crank Mechanism
Journal of Engineering for Industry, 1971An investigation of the vibratory bending response of the elastic connecting rod of a slider-crank mechanism is presented. The response of the system is found to be dependent upon five dimensionless parameters. These are classified as the length, mass, damping, external piston force, and frequency parameters; and the effects of these parameters on the ...

Dynamics of the slider-crank mechanism with clearance in the sliding bearing
Mechanism and Machine Theory, 1974Abstract A method of predicting the detailed motion of the slider of a slider crank mechanism within slider-guide clearance is given. The effects of changing the geometry and the mass distribution are presented, and the analysis, which includes the effects of gas loads on the slider, is applied to the motion of a piston in a diesel engine.

Dynamic modeling of a slider-crank mechanism with coupler and joint flexibility
Mechanism and Machine Theory, 1994Abstract Modeling and dynamic analysis of a slider-crank mechanism with flexible joint and coupler is presented. The equations of motion of the mechanism are formulated using a newly evolving multibody formalism and cast in terms of a minimum set of generalized coordinates through a Jacobian matrix expansion.

Experimental analysis of dynamics of inverted slider-crank mechanism
2022Makinalarda temel tahrik mekanizmalarından biri olan kol-kızak mekanizması, dönme hareketini kayar uzuv vasıtasıyla çıkış uzvuna aktararak, çıkış uzvunun sarkaç hareketi yapmasını sağlamaktadır. Bu durum mekanizmada ani yön değişimine ve yüksek hız dalgalanmasına yol açmaktadır Bu çalışmada kol-kızak mekanizmasının hareket denkleminin çözümünden elde ...

Dynamic analysis of a slider–crank mechanism with eccentric connector and planetary gears
Mechanism and Machine Theory, 2007Abstract In this study, the kinematic and dynamic analysis of a modified slider–crank mechanism which has an additional eccentric link between connecting rod and crank pin, as distinct from a conventional mechanism, are presented. This new extra link that may be called the eccentric connector transmits gas forces to the crank, and it also drives a ...

Research of Kinematic and Dynamic Errors of Crank-Piston Mechanisms
2016The issue of determination of errors and precision of mechanisms and machines always presents an important problem. This problem is rather urgent in machine building, agriculture machinery, food industry, instrument engineelink and other fields of industry.

Synthesis of a slider-crank mechanism with consideration of dynamic effects
Journal of Mechanisms, 1970Abstract A method of dynamic synthesis of a slider-crank mechanism to meet specified velocity conditions at three design points including the inertia effects of the masses of the main links is presented. Velocity specifications are developed assuming a constant velocity of the input crank.

Dynamic Stability of the Flexible Connecting Rod of a Slider Crank Mechanism
Journal of Mechanisms, Transmissions, and Automation in Design, 1986The partial differential equation of motion of the flexible connecting rod of a slider crank is derived, under the assumption of small deflections. Application of the Galerkin procedure, leads to a system of linear ordinary differential equations, with respect to the modal coordinates of vibration of the rod.

Refined Dynamic Calculation of a Diesel-Engine Crank Mechanism
Russian Engineering Research, 2018A mathematical model is proposed for the connecting rod of a diesel engine as a deformable component of a crank mechanism. VisSim 6.0 software is used for dynamic simulation of the connecting rod. Vibration is observed when the force exerted by the gas pressure is a maximum.
