A novel Ca2+ double cone vector system to treat compromised skin

A novel calcium ion (Ca2+) double cone vector system enables the delivery of bioavailable Ca2+ ions into the skin, to replenish the collapsed calcium gradient of the skin barrier. This system represents a new and successful approach to treat a damaged skin barrier present in compromised or aged skin.
