This Review connects selected gastronomic examples with food‐derived nanomaterials, plasmonic sensing, anthocyanin photovoltaics, and intelligent packaging. Spectral Splitting Using Luminescent Solar Concentrator Lightguides

Attaching selective reflectors to the edges of a luminescent solar concentrator containing two different fluorescent dyes makes it possible to parse the incident white light spectrum into two separate edge emission wavelengths. Separation may be enhanced by aligning the dichroic dyes on the lightguide surface.
