EBV infection activates IL2RA.

We measured total transcription in human cells following infection with Epstein-Barr Virus coupled with RNA-sequencing for unbiased description of the EBV transcriptional landscape. We describe here activation of the alpha subunit of the interleukin-2 receptor, IL2RA, in cells following infection with the human herpesvirus EBV.
