New Insights Into the Phytochemical Composition and Biological Potential of Leaf Extracts From Algerian Autochthonous Vitis vinifera L.

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 8, August 2026.
Phenolic‐rich extracts from five indigenous Algerian Vitis vinifera leaf cultivars were characterized by LC–MS and evaluated for antioxidant, antidiabetic, antibacterial, and molecular docking activities. The Azorith‐fereinguel cultivar showed superior bioactivity, attributed mainly to isoquercitrin, hesperidin, and rutin.

Interactive EC control of synthesized timbre [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Perhaps the biggest limitation of interactive EC is the fitness evaluation bottleneck, caused by slow user evaluation and leading to small populations and user fatigue. In this study these problems are addressed through the proposal of new user interface

Experimental, Genomic, and Structural Evidence Supporting Putative PET‐Hydrolases in Thermophilic Bacteria Isolated From Hot Springs in Cajamarca, Peru

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 15, Issue 4, August 2026.
Integrated microbiological, genomic, and structural analyses of bacteria isolated from a Peruvian geothermal system reveal enzymatic potential for the transformation of polyesters such as PET. This study links experimental evidence with genomic determinants and in silico analyses that support the thermophilic bacteria biodegradation capacity.

Methodological Modifications of the INFOGEST 2.0 Protocol in Plant‐Based Food Studies: A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Food Science, Volume 91, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The INFOGEST 2.0 protocol is widely applied as a standardized static in vitro digestion model, and its use in studies involving plant‐based foods has increased substantially in recent years. This systematic review aimed to identify, classify, and critically evaluate methodological modifications applied to the INFOGEST 2.0 protocol in studies ...

Japanese Women's Attitudes Toward Learning Languages Other Than English in the Era of Global English

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Linguistics, Volume 36, Issue 3, Page 2298-2308, August 2026.
ABSTRACT This study on female Japanese learners of the Korean language is situated in the centuries‐long anti‐Korean sentiments in Japan, the global popularity of the Korean Wave, particularly among women, and the essentialized image of socially marginalized young Japanese women who study English with romantic desires for Western men.
