The environmentally responsive plant epigenome: insights from jasmonate signaling

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 249, Issue 6, Page 2722-2728, March 2026.
Summary The environmental responsiveness of the plant epigenome is essential for spatiotemporally precise gene regulation, enabling plants to adapt to external cues. Elucidating the mechanisms underlying this responsiveness is therefore fundamental to deciphering the molecular logic of plant‐environment interactions.

Dynamic Precipitation during High‐Pressure Torsion of a Magnesium–Manganese Alloy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 4, 18 February 2026.
An ultrafine‐grained alloy is produced by high‐pressure torsion of solutionized Mg–1.35 wt% Mn. Precipitation of nanometer‐scale Mn particles during deformation provides pinning sites. This prevents the formation of a bimodal grain structure and results in a finer grain size than for pure Mg.

Inverse Engineering of Mg Alloys Using Guided Oversampling and Semi‐Supervised Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, Volume 2, Issue 1, February 2026.
End‐to‐end design of engineering materials such as Mg alloys must include the properties, structure, and post‐synthesis processing methods. However, this is challenging when destructive mechanical testing is needed to annotate unseen data, and the processing methods for hypothetical alloys are unknown.

The precipitation behavior of MgZn2 and Mg4Zn7 phase in Mg-6Zn (wt.%) alloy during equal-channel angular pressing

open access: yesJournal of Magnesium and Alloys, 2017
As-extruded Mg-6Zn (wt.%) Alloy was subjected to severe plastic deformation (SPD) by the equal-channel angular pressing(ECAP) at 160 oC. The results of tensile tests at room temperature showed that two passes ECAP resulted in a remarkable improvement of ...
