A Search of Periodic Variable Stars in the LMC by JWST Photometry
Based on high-resolution near-infrared photometric data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) targeting the Large Magellanic Cloud, this study attempts to evaluate the feasibility and sensitivity limits of variable star detection in crowded stellar ...

A comprehensive study of δ Scuti-type pulsators in eclipsing binaries: Oscillating eclipsing Algols
Eclipsing double-lined spectroscopic binaries (SB2s) hosting δ Scuti-type pulsators offer a unique laboratory for simultaneously constraining stellar geometry and interior structure.

“Constant” eclipsing binary in the instability strip
Abstract The eclipsing binary OO Peg consist of two late-A type stars in circular orbit with a period of 2.985 days. I use the high-resolution spectroscopic and extensive light curves from the ASAS and Hipparcos survey to measure the physical properties of the system.

A Systematic Search for Big Dippers in ASAS-SN
Dipper stars are extrinsically variable stars with deep dimming events due to extended, often dusty, structures produced by a wide range of mechanisms such as collisions, protoplanetary evolution or stellar winds.

ECLIPSING BINARY STARS : LIGHT CURVE MODELS AND SOFTWARE
The importance of studying Eclipsing Binary Stars for the determination of fundamental stellar data is sketched. The eclipsing binaries, originally classified phenomenologically, are now understood on the basis of much firmer physics and the improved ...

Optical Observations with Milliarcsecond Resolution of Stars, Their Environments and Companions [PDF]
Observations with milliarsecond resolution using the Navy Optical Interferometer have been obtained for a number of stellar systems which include high-mass binaries, eclipsing binaries, and radio stars.

GAIA Survey of Galactic Eclipsing Binaries [PDF]
AbstractThe general importance and capabilities of observations of eclipsing binaries by the forthcoming ESA mission GAIA are discussed. Availability of spectroscopic observations and a large number of photometric bands on board will make it possible to reliably determine physical parameters for ∼ 105 binary stars.
