Advanced Science, EarlyView.Inhalable eugenol (EUG) from clove oil attenuates NAFLD by activating hepatic olfactory receptor Olfr544, triggering cAMP/PKA/CREB signaling to enhance lipolysis/oxidation. EUG concurrently restores gut microbiota, enriching probiotics (L. reuteri XR23/L. johnsonii XR25) and metabolites (IPA/5‐HIAA) that suppress lipogenesis.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Small nanoplastics can disrupt cell integrity and inhibit cell division in meristem zone of plant root.
