Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Optimally edge-colouring outerplanar graphs is in NC [PDF]

open access: yes
We prove that every outerplanar graph can be optimally edge-coloured in polylogarithmic time using a polynomial number of processors on a parallel random access machine without write conflicts (P-RAM)

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Textile material multi ply cutting by laser [PDF]

open access: yesTekstilna industrija
Multi ply fabric cutting by laser is very challenging because of low thermal conductivity of textile materials. A laser beam can through-cut only limited number of fabric plies placed one above another.

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

L- Edge Colouring of Graphs

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Soft Computing, 2013
A graph G = (V, E) is said to be topogenic if it admits a topogenic set indexer, which is a set indexer f: Viƒ  2X such that f(V) f (E) iƒ… is a topology on X. A list colouring of a graph G = (V,E) with a colour list C = i» i€¨ i€© i€¨ i€© i½ 1 2 , , ....

Wild edge colourings of graphs

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Logic, 2004
AbstractWe prove consistent, assuming there is a supercompact cardinal, that there is a singular strong limit cardinalμ, of cofinalityω, such that everyμ+-chromatic graphXonμ+has an edge colouringcofXintoμcolours for which every vertex colouringgofXinto at mostμmany colours has ag-colour class on whichctakes every value. The paper also contains some ...

Some snarks are worse than others

open access: yes, 2020
Many conjectures and open problems in graph theory can either be reduced to cubic graphs or are directly stated for cubic graphs. Furthermore, it is known that for a lot of problems, a counterexample must be a snark, i.e.
