Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

We develop a microscopic picture of the electron states localized at the edges perpendicular to the chains in the Bechgaard salts in the quantum Hall regime. In a magnetic-field-induced spin-density-wave state (FISDW) characterized by an integer N, there

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Taming harmful bursts and heat flux in high-confinement tokamak plasmas
A major challenge in tokamak fusion research is first-wall erosion caused by steady heat loads and sudden energy bursts known as edge-localized modes. Divertor detachment reduces steady-state heat flux, while resonant magnetic perturbations can suppress ...

Plasmonic band edge effects on the transmission properties of metal gratings
We present a detailed analysis of the optical properties of one-dimensional arrays of slits in metal films. Although enhanced transmission windows are dominated by Fabry-Perot cavity modes localized inside the slits, the periodicity introduces surface ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Edge Localized Mode Control in TCV
The Tokamak concept, based on magnetic confinement of a hydrogen plasma, is one of today's most promising paths to energy production by nuclear fusion. The experimental scenarios leading to the largest fusion rate are based on a high confinement plasma regime, the H-mode, in which the energy and particle confinement are enhanced by a transport barrier ...

Topological Superconducting Phases of Weakly Coupled Quantum Wires
An array of quantum wires is a natural starting point in realizing two-dimensional topological phases. We study a system of weakly coupled quantum wires with Rashba spin-orbit coupling, proximity coupled to a conventional s-wave superconductor. A variety
