EDXRF measurements on gold diffusion-doped Bi1.8Pb0.35Sr1.9Ca2.1Cu3Oy

open access: yesPhysica B: Condensed Matter, 2008
Abstract Gold (Au) diffusion in superconducting Bi 1.8 Pb 0.35 Sr 1.9 Ca 2.1 Cu 3 O y was investigated over the temperature range 500–800 °C by the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technique. It is found that the Au diffusion coefficient decreases as the diffusion-annealing temperature decreases.
