n-Hexane Bromination Using Barium Fluorobromate Ba(BrF[4])[2] [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
It was observed that Ba(BrF[4])[2] demonstrates a high reactivity towards n-hexane. It was found that the heating the reaction mass proceed with intensive self-heating up to 40 °C and release of elemental bromine.

Tailoring Metal Nuclearity of Pt/γ‐Al2O3 Catalysts: When Molecular Precursors Matter

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 7, 14 April 2026.
Optimizing Pt/γ‐Al2O3 catalysts by surface organometallic chemistry: the MeCpPtMe3 precursor excels in isolating Pt single atoms post‐calcination, more than tmedaPtMe2 and CODPtMe2. Reduction forms sub‐nanometric clusters, with enhanced single‐atom ratios and smaller particle size with respect to incipient‐wetness impregnation methods.

Simplified Assembly Process for Efficient Light‐Driven MOF‐Based Water Oxidation Catalysts in Acidic pH

open access: yesChemPhotoChem, Volume 10, Issue 4, April 2026.
MOF based photoanodes for light driven water oxidation can be created by combination of Fe3O nodes in MOFs such as MIL101 and highly active Ru‐based single site water oxidation catalyst. Even with linker mismatch the MOF assembles and shows stable performance in photoelectrochemical water oxidation.

Precision‐Engineered Silver Single‐Atom Carbon Dot Nanozymes for Theranostic Management of Acute Kidney Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 16, 18 March 2026.
Mitochondria‐targeted silver single‐atom carbon dot (T‐AgSA‐CDs) nanozymes enable dual SOD/GPx‐like ROS scavenging, real‐time imaging, and therapeutic effects for acute kidney injury (AKI). Atomically dispersed Ag sites synergize with carbon dots to restore renal redox hemostasis, protect mitochondrial function, mitigate inflammation, facilitate post ...

Application of improved matrix dilution method in quantitative analysis of Ni-Co-Mn ternary precursor

open access: yesNukleonika
When using energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) to analyze Ni-Co-Mn (NCM) samples, if the standard sample's concentration greatly differs from the unknown sample's concentration, the traditional matrix dilution method requires repeated dilution ...
