Engaging Early Engineering Students (EEES)

2013 IEEE Frontiers in Education Conference (FIE), 2013
Undergraduate STEM student enrollment has declined substantially over the last decade. Specifically there has been a steady decline in retention of early engineering students working through the first half of their degree programs. Student “leavers” typically fall into two categories (i) those facing academic difficulties and (ii) those that perceive ...

The EEE Project: status and perspectives

Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2007
The Extreme Energy Events (EEE) project plans to build and use an array of cosmic ray telescopes for muon detection, distributed over the italian territory. The use of such telescopes, based on Multigap Resistive Plate Chambers (MRPC) will allow the study of cosmic ray showers and the correlation between multiple primaries producing distant showers ...

Green product design for EEE

2009 International Conference on Computers & Industrial Engineering, 2009
Nowadays, manufacturers are facing great challenges with regard to the production of green products due to the emerging issue of hazardous substance management (HSM). In particular, environmental legislation pressures have yielded to increased risk, manufacturing complexity and green components demands.

Reuse of EEE/WEEE in UK: Review on functionality of EEE/WEEE at the point of disposal

Proceedings of the 2011 IEEE International Symposium on Sustainable Systems and Technology, 2011
The rapid growth in the electronics sector and use of technology in general has inevitably resulted in the generation of vast amounts of waste in the form of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE). These wastes are often highly complex, integrated and toxic and consist of valuable substances such as gold and copper.

EEE-AODV in MANET

2016
Mobile Ad hoc network is a collection of mobile nodes. It has the property to change according to changing topology due to the lack of centralized control. The nodes act as a sender and receiver both and communicate with each other through various protocols. We have analyzed the energy factor of existing AODV protocol and have done improvement in it by

The EEE Project

2007
The EEE (Extreme Energy Events) Project, conceived many years ago by its leader Antonino Zichichi, aims to study high-energy extensive air showers through the detection of the shower muon component by means of a network of tracking detectors, namely telescopes, installed in Italian High Schools.

Polarization Aspects of the EEE Phenomenon

Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 1985
The correlations between the TSEE, TSCD and TSC processes for X-ray irradiated LiF single crystals were experimentally studied. It was established that the TSEE spectra of LiF are dominated by dipole and ionic-polarization processes. Kinetic parameters were calculated on the basis of experimental data.
