Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Effect of the hydraulic conditions and structure geometry on mathematical modelling of discharge coefficient for duckbill and oblique weirs [PDF]
Weirs are one the most important hydraulic structures for flow control, water measurement and regulating of upstream water elevation in canals, irrigation networks and rivers. For a given of channel width, duckbill and oblique weirs have longer effective

Effect of secondary discharge on the repeatability of contact discharge method
Submillimetre gaps caused by buttons, switches exist in the electronic device. IEC 61000‐4‐2 indicates that contact discharge method will be used if these floating metals could be touched in its normal use. Secondary discharge happens when conduct contact discharge on these floating metals.

1. The Effect of Flame on the Electric Discharge [PDF]
The properties of flames of various kinds as generating electricity and as serving to conduct a voltaic current, as also their behaviour under the influence of a charge of electricity, have been investigated by several philosophers. But, so far as we know, the effect of flame on the electric spark has not been methodically observed, or at all events ...

Abstract Spark discharges in liquid have shown great potential for use in numerous applications, such as pollutant degradation, precision micromachining, and nanomaterials production. Herein, spark discharges are initiated at the interface of two immiscible liquids, heptane and water.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Effective ignition energy for capacitor short-circuit discharge in explosive environments
Capacitors short-circuit discharge in an explosive environment can ignite and detonate the surrounding explosive media, causing dangerous accidents. At low voltages, this kind of discharge constitutes a micro-nano discharge; because the discharge gaps ...

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...
