A ZIF‐90 nanocarrier delivers dinotefuran and suppresses NlABCG3 and NlABCH1 in resistant Nilaparvata lugens. This system combines pH/ATP‐triggered release with enhanced foliar retention, improving efficacy while sparing honeybees and promoting rice growth, offering a promising resistance‐breaking strategy.

USP5 Stabilizes TGFBR1 to Drive Vascular Smooth Muscle Cell Senescence and Atherosclerosis
This study reveals that USP5 drives vascular smooth muscle cell senescence and atherosclerosis by stabilizing TGFBR1, suppressing IDH2, and promoting glycolytic reprogramming, identifying the USP5‐TGFBR1‐IDH2 axis as a potential therapeutic target. ABSTRACT Vascular smooth muscle cell (VSMC) senescence contributes importantly to atherosclerotic plaque ...

Expression profile of EmrKY efflux pumps during Shigella's intracellular life
Backgrounds In several bacterial pathogens, efflux pumps, besides exporting antimicrobial agents, play a role in bacterial pathogenicity. Shigella, the causative agent of bacillary dysentery, has conserved 14 out of 20 operons encoding efflux pumps ...

Current Advances in Developing Inhibitors of Bacterial Multidrug Efflux Pumps
Antimicrobial resistance represents a significant challenge to future healthcare provision. An acronym ESKAPEE has been derived from the names of the organisms recognised as the major threats although there are a number of other organisms, notably ...

Liquid atmospheric pressure matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization (LAP‐MALDI) mass spectrometry (MS) provides multiplexed biotyping of microbial cultures using a fast and simple workflow. This is demonstrated for clinically relevant bacteria, resulting in accurate antimicrobial resistance (AMR) detection, speciation by MS/MS sequencing and ...

Molecular investigation of drug efflux pumps by deep mutational scanning
Bacteria protect themselves from the noxious action of antibiotics and other toxic compounds by the expression of drug efflux pumps, which are highly efficient in extruding them out of the cell.

GC cells enhance glutamine accumulation by upregulating SLC1A5 expression. This upregulation not only boosts GC cell proliferation, but also outcompetes CD8+ T cells for glutamine and suppresses their antitumor immunity. Mechanistically, METTL7A deficiency in GC induces SLC1A5 overexpression via an m6A‐dependent pathway and N‐glycosylation ...
