Spectromicroscopy Analysis of Chicken Egg Shells

open access: yesX-Ray Spectrometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chicken egg shells, taken from farm and backyard eggs of different suppliers from different regions in Brazil were collected for chemical/structural analysis, in order to try to find if there is a relation between egg shells composition and the type of production (farm or backyard), the egg shell color and the region of production.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 3, Page 688-708, March 2026.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Experimental datasets on processed eggshell membrane powder for wound healing

open access: yesData in Brief, 2019
Eggshell (ES) and eggshell membrane (ESM) is a significant byproduct of the egg producing industry (Ahmed et al., 2019). Many studies have been undertaken to utilize ES waste for potential value added applications (Cordeiro and Hincke, 2011). Described here are the datasets from our evaluation of processed eggshell membrane powder (PEP) as a wound ...

Self‐Assembled Zinc Supraparticles as Sustainable Fertilizer Platforms for Controlled Nutrient Release with Reduced Zinc Leaching in Soil

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, Volume 10, Issue 3, March 2026.
Zinc oxide supraparticles (ZnO SPs) are developed as a sustainable platform for controlled nutrient release in agriculture. They enable slow zinc release, limit vertical nutrient mobility, preserve soil microbial activity, and enhance photosynthetic performance in maize.
