Robust Model-Based Sensor Fault Monitoring System for Nonlinear Systems in Sensor Networks [PDF]
A new model-based sensor fault diagnosis (FD) scheme, using an equivalent model, is developed for a kind of Multiple Inputs Multiple Outputs (MIMO) nonlinear system which fulfills the Lipschitz condition.

Eigenstructure assignment-based controllers applied to flexible spacecraft [PDF]
The objective of this article is to evaluate the behaviour of a controller designed using a parametric eigenstructure assignment method and to evaluate its suitability for use in flexible spacecraft. The challenge of this objective lies in obtaining a suitable controller that is specifically designated to alleviate the deflections and vibrations ...

Pole assignment with optimally conditioned eigenstructure [PDF]
This paper presents a novel method for pole assignment with robustness measured in terms of the spectral condition number of the closed-loop eigenvector matrix. It is established that the spectral condition number can be minimized asymptotically via a sequence of unconstrained minimizations on some auxiliary objective functions.

Partial Eigenstructure Assignment for Linear Time-Invariant Systems via Dynamic Compensator
This article studies the partial eigenstructure assignment (PEA) problem for a type of linear time-invariant (LTI) system. By introducing a dynamic output feedback controller, the closed-loop system is similar to a given arbitrary constant matrix, so the

Diagonal dominance via eigenstructure assignment [PDF]
This paper presents a new methodology for diagonal dominance of large-scale systems via eigenstructure assignment. For a given large-scale system in general form, an equivalent descriptor system in the input–output decentralized form is defined. Sufficient conditions for diagonal dominance of the closed-loop system are introduced.

Receptance-based robust eigenstructure assignment [PDF]
Abstract The robustness of receptance-based active control techniques to uncertain parameters in fitted transfer function matrices is considered. Variability in assigned closed-loop poles, which arises from uncertain open-loop poles, zeros, and scaling parameters, is quantified by means of analytical sensitivity formulae, which are derived in this ...

Robust scheduled control of longitudinal flight with handling quality satisfaction [PDF]
Classic flight control systems are still widely used in the industry because of acquired experience and good understanding of their structure. Nevertheless, with more stringent constraints, it becomes difficult to easily fulfil all the criteria with ...

Automated Controller Design for the PMSM Using Dynamic Mode Decomposition
This work presents a method to automatically generate a high performance controller for the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The method consists of two components, a nominal system identification and a harmonic component identification.
