Electric Drive for Throttle Control of Centrifugal Pump System
2018 IEEE 59th International Scientific Conference on Power and Electrical Engineering of Riga Technical University (RTUCON), 2018Centrifugal pumping plants are an integral part of water distribution systems, irrigation networks, oil and chemical industries. An electric drive system for throttle control of a centrifugal pumping plant is proposed. The drive system consists of a stepper motor, pump, pipeline, pressure regulation valve, fluid reservoir, and control equipment.

Development of small centrifugal pumps for an electric propellant pump system
Acta Astronautica, 1990Abstract Small centrifugal pumps with low specific speeds have been designed, manufactured and performance tested at Volvo Flygmotor AB under a contract from the European Space Agency (ESA) over the period mid-1985 to mid-1988. The development of the pumps is a part of the work carried out to develop an Electric Propellant Pump System (EPPS) for the ...

Subsurface Electrical Centrifugal Pumps
Journal of Petroleum Technology, 1984Summary The first subsurface electrical centrifugal pump for oilwell service in the U.S. was installed in the Russell field, KS, in 1926. Since that time many improvements have increased the efficiency of the pump at various pumping rates and depths in a variety of casing sizes.

2016 Dynamics of Systems, Mechanisms and Machines (Dynamics), 2016
The article provides a method for the determination of electromagnetic parameters of asynchronous submersible electric motors (SEM) on the damping curve of the constant current recorded from a stationary rotor. The method is suitable for using both as in terms of electro-repair shops as directly on the surface of the multiple well platforms. The method

INCREASED RELIABILITY OF ELECTRIC CENTRIFUGAL PUMPING UNITS
Neft i GazElectric submersible pumping units are used for production in high-yield oil wells. Since existing pumping units come in different types depending on the complexity of the design and well conditions, a clear and responsible decision must be made in terms of reliability.

Some Notes on Electrically Driven Centrifugal Pumps
Journal AWWA, 1931In the past few years there has been a rapid change from steam to electrically driven centrifugal pumps, especially in the smaller water works plants. The many advantages of electric power are coming to be more and more realized, but unfortunately in many cases a full knowledge of the nature of centrifugal pumps does not seem to have accompanied their ...
