Different Al/Al bimetals with a single engineered interface reveal how mechanical mismatch governs fatigue crack growth under cyclic loading. Additionally, loading–unloading–reloading tests link the microyielding behavior to the fatigue crack growth resistance, while crack‐path analysis reveals toughening mechanisms at the interface, highlighting ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Observations of electric fields during two partial solar eclipses at the geomagnetic equator [PDF]
This study presents the first coordinated observations of atmospheric electric field (AEF) and ionospheric plasma drifts during the partial solar eclipses of 2 July 2019 and 14 October 2023, observed near the magnetic equator in Lima, Peru.

A new network of electric field mills at the Pierre Auger Observatory
Abstract The Pierre Auger Observatory is the largest ground-based experiment for the detection of ultra-high energy cosmic rays. In a hybrid approach, many detectors – including radio antennas – observe the extensive air showers induced by cosmic rays.

Control of Polarization and Polar Helicity in BiFeO3 by Epitaxial Strain and Interfacial Chemistry
In BiFeO3 thin films, the interplay of interfacial chemistry, electrostatics, and epitaxial strain is engineered to stabilize homohelicity in polarization textures at the domain scale. The synergistic use of a Bi2O2‐terminated Aurivillius buffer layer and a highly anisotropic compressive epitaxial strain offers new routes to control the polar‐texture ...

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Initial data for analysis of electromechanical system the interconnected stands
For continuous rolling mills one of the most important technical issues is to configure the speed interrelated stands line. The basic law when setting speed rolling of the group of sequentially connected mill stands is the constancy of the volume of ...
