Seeing Heritage Management through Systems Science
ABSTRACT Heritage is influenced by a range of multifaceted factors, such as global issues, power dynamics, entangled legal frameworks and multilayered needs. The interplay of these elements creates a challenging environment for heritage managers, who must navigate a web of stakeholders with diverse interests and values. This paper suggests that systems

ABSTRACT To effectively suppress transient overvoltages in HVDC systems, the design and experimental validation of a multi‐module series controllable arrester are presented. The voltage‐limiting performance, series voltage equalisation capability, and robustness under fault conditions in high‐voltage scenarios require further research.

The Agents of Climate Justice in Healthcare
ABSTRACT This paper addresses the critical issue of decarbonising healthcare systems to help combat climate change. I focus on identifying the ‘agents of justice’ responsible for this transformation. Beginning with the claim that healthcare's greenhouse gas emissions cause injustice, the paper assumes that achieving a net zero healthcare system is ...

HBM tester parasitic effects on high pin count devices with multiple power and ground pins
S.354-363A new Human Body Model (HBM) SPICE equivalent lumped element model (LEM) circuit that reproduces parasitic resistance, capacitance and inductance (RLC) tester effects has been used to investigate how the HBM current flows through several ...

Hardening communication ports for survival in electrical overstress environments
Greater attention is being focused on the protection of data I/O ports since both experience and lab tests have shown that components at these locations are extremely vulnerable to electrical overstress (EOS) in the form of transient voltages.

Exploring the leaky pipeline: Tokenism, status group effects, or self‐selection?
Abstract In most European universities today, more than 50% of bachelor's degrees are awarded to women, but the corresponding share of full professorships is only about 25%. This phenomenon is called the leaky pipeline. Most explanations refer to gender biases and stereotypes, motherhood, discrimination, and tokenism.

The Liquidity Sprint: Short‐Term Cash Needs and Access to Credit
ABSTRACT We identify the causal drivers of the COVID‐19 ‘dash‐for‐cash’ in Europe using a hand‐collected panel of Euro‐area firms (2018‐Q4–2020‐Q3). Exploiting regional infection intensity as an instrument, we find that a one‐unit EBITDA decline raised credit‐line utilization by 15.5 percentage points in 2020‐Q2. Unlike the US ‘fallen‐angel’ narrative,
