Controlling the Electrical Transport Properties of Nanocontacts to Nanowires
The ability to control the properties of electrical contacts to nanostructures is essential to realize operational nanodevices. Here, we show that the electrical behavior of the nanocontacts between free-standing ZnO nanowires and the catalytic Au particle used for their growth can switch from Schottky to Ohmic depending on the size of the Au particles

Electrical transport properties of morpholinium-TCNQ2 compounds [PDF]
Measurements of the frequency and electric field dependence of several low-dimensional semiconductors, belonging to the class of substituted morpholinium-TCNQ 2 compounds, are presented. Large enhancement of the conductivity is seen at frequencies in the MHz region and at electric fields of I to 10 V/cm.

Electrical transport properties of CuS single crystals [PDF]
Electrical resistivity, transverse magnetoresistance and thermoelectric power measurements were performed on CuS high quality single crystals in the range 1.2-300 K and under fields of up to 16 T. The zero field resistivity data are well described below 55 K by a quasi-2D model, consistent with a carrier confinement at lower temperatures, before the ...

Carbon nanotubes and silver flakes filled epoxy resin for new hybrid conductive adhesives [PDF]
Combining conductive micro and nanofillers is a new way to improve electrical conductivity. Micrometric silver flakes and nanometric carbon nanotubes (CNTs) exhibit high electrical conductivity.

Structural, magnetic and electrical transport properties of YMnAl [PDF]
The intermetallic compound YMnAl, crystallizing in the cubic C-15 (MgCu2-type) structure, was prepared using arc-melting and annealing. Rietveld refinement of the XRD pattern yields a lattice parameter of a = 7.816(1) Å.

Electronic transport in DNA [PDF]
We study the electronic properties of DNA by way of a tight-binding model applied to four particular DNA sequences. The charge transfer properties are presented in terms of localization lengths (crudely speaking, the length over which electrons travel).

Electrical properties of Sb and Cr-doped PbZrO3-PbTiO3-PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 ceramics [PDF]
The pyroelectric, dielectric and DC resistive properties of Sb and Cr-doped ceramics with a base composition of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.025(Zr0.825Ti0.175)0.975O3 have been studied. Sb doping has been shown to produce a linear reduction in Curie temperature (TC=−
