ABSTRACT Background Accessing brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be challenging, especially for underserved patients, which may lead to disparities in neurological diagnosis. Method This mixed‐methods study enrolled adults with one of four neurological disorders: mild cognitive impairment or dementia of the Alzheimer type, multiple sclerosis ...

Enhancement of Proton Transport in an Oriented Polypeptide Thin Film [PDF]
Proton transport properties of a partially protonated poly(aspartic acid)/sodium polyaspartate (P-Asp) were investigated. A remarkable enhancement of proton conductivity has been achieved in the thin film. Proton conductivity of 60-nm-thick thin film

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Electrical properties of various single-wall carbon nanotube networks [PDF]
This thesis investigates conduction mechanisms of covalently and non covalently functionalised single wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) networks. Unlike previous strategies where diamines were used, a novel route to covalently bridge SWCNTs by organic ...

Study on electrical transport characteristics of aluminum-doped ZnO ceramics under high pressure
This study utilized ZnO powder and Al powder as raw materials. By varying the temperature using high-pressure methods, we successfully prepared aluminum-doped zinc oxide composite ceramics with excellent electrical conductivity.

Electrical and Magnetic Transport Properties of Pr0.1Ca0.9MnO3 [PDF]
Ceramic Pr1−xCaxMnO3 (x = 0.1) samples were prepared by solid-state reaction and the electrical and magnetic transport properties were studied by direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) methods in different fields. A Curie temperature of 125 K determined by I-V measurements of ceramic Pr1−xCaxMnO3 (x = 0.1) samples is consistent with that from

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...
