Adaptive Control of Above Knee Electro-Hydraulic Prosthesis

Journal of Biomechanical Engineering, 1992
Conventional designs of an above-knee prosthesis are based on mechanisms with mechanical properties (such as friction, spring and damping coefficients) that remain constant during changing cadence. These designs are unable to replace natural legs due to the lack of active knee joint control. Since the nonlinear and time-varying dynamic coupling between

Design of Transmission Electro-Hydraulic Control Module

SAE Technical Paper Series, 2013
<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">The demand for better driving comfort, fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 output has been becoming increasingly stringent. In response to such needs, we developed Transmission Electro-Hydraulic Control Module (TEHCM). For Automatic Transmission, expanding the lock-up control area is

Intelligent-PI controller for electro-hydraulic system

2016 4th International Conference on Control Engineering & Information Technology (CEIT), 2016
Electro-hydraulic actuators have been widely applied in industry with position or pressure control. Nevertheless, the conventional linear control technology is not able to satisfy the requirement of improving the control precision due to the nonlinearities of hydraulic systems. This paper presents two control strategies based on intelligent-PI in order

Advantages of Pump Controlled Electro Hydraulic Actuators

2021
Pump controlled hydraulic cylinders or Electro Hydraulic Actuators (EHA) have shown some advantages over common hydraulic systems and Electro Mechanical Cylinder (EMC) systems. EHA applications can be found in airplanes, submarines, mobile hydraulics, etc.

Fuzzy Feedback Control for Electro-Hydraulic Actuators

Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, 2023

Intelligent controls for electro-hydraulic poppet valves

Control Engineering Practice, 2013
Abstract This paper describes an intelligent controller that combines an auto-calibration state-trajectory-based control method with a simple algorithm that enables fault detection. The application of the controller to achieve intelligent electronic pressure control in a fluid power system is included.

Intelligence Mining with Electro-Hydraulic Control Technology

Advanced Materials Research, 2011
The underlying way to reduce accidents is reducing the number of workers on the coal face. Automatic mining can realize this object. The key for unmanned automatic mining is the application of electro-hydraulic control technology used on workface support. The electro-hydraulic control system applied in Wannian colliery has following function: Automatic

Projective control of electro-hydraulic servo system

Proceedings of the 2001 American Control Conference. (Cat. No.01CH37148), 2001
A nonlinear dynamic model for an electro-hydraulic servo system is developed. The model's response is compared with that of an actual valve. A projective control algorithm is used to control the motion of a load. Robustness of the control algorithm is analyzed through simulations.

Velocity control of an electro hydraulic servosystem

2007 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, 2007
This study addresses new hybrid approaches for velocity control of an electro hydraulic servosystem (EHSS) in presence of flow nonlinearities and internal friction. In our new approaches, we combined classical method based-on sliding mode control and fuzzy RBF networks. The control by using adaptive networks need plant's Jacobean, but here this problem
