Electrocatalytic activity of cobalt phthalocyanine stabilized by different matrixes

Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2002
The behavior of cobalt phthalocyanine complexes incorporated inside an hydrotalcite-like clay (HT) or a sonogel-carbon composite has been investigated in order to develop chemically modified electrodes suitable for use as amperometric detectors.

Selective Modification and Probing of the Electrocatalytic Activity of Step Sites

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2019
Employing Pt(111) supported 2D Pt-core Au-shell model catalysts, we demonstrate that 2D core-shell surfaces prepared under ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) conditions constitute excellent model systems to determine the activity of step sites in electrocatalysis, especially because UHV-scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) enables control of the quality of narrow ...

Redox and Electrocatalytic Activity of Ni Ion-Implanted Ti

Journal of Materials Research, 2004
Ni-Ti surface alloy was prepared by ion-implanting Ni into Ti. The surface film was amorphous having a Ni surface content of 10–40 at.%. The material was compared with a Ni-Ti bulk alloy (44.08:55.9) regarding their redox and electrocatalytic behavior in NaOH by cyclic voltammetry.

Aggregation effects on the electrocatalytic activity of platinum

Journal of Catalysis, 1978
Abstract Chlorine evolution is used as a test reaction to investigate the electrocatalytic activity of platinum in various states of aggregation. Ti, implanted with Pt ions, Ti with electrodeposited Pt, massive Pt, Ti-Pt composites, and dilute Ti-Pt alloys are examined.

Electrocatalytic Carbon Dioxide Activation

Carbon dioxide is one of the anthropogenic gases which is strongly polluting the atmosphere. The main emissions of this gas are related to the combustion of fuels. This pollutant contributes to global warming of the Earth and poses a risk to life. It is therefore urgent to close the cycle: capture CO2, transform, re-use, and capture CO2 again.
