Nanobiosensor Based on Catalytic Palladium Nanoclusters and Oxidases for Bianalyte Electrochemical Determination: Glucose and Ethanol in Sweat

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A nanobiosensor for fast and simultaneous determination of sweat glucose and ethanol is presented. Deposited oxidase enzymes consume oxygen in the presence of the substrates, and co‐deposited palladium nanoclusters catalyze the electrochemical oxygen reduction, basis of the detection.

Skin‐Interfaced Therapeutic Patches for Wound Fluid Management and Transdermal Drug Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents an integrated skin‐interfaced device combining microfluidics, hydrogel film technology, flexible electronics, and iontophoresis‐based transdermal delivery of PDRN to enhance wound healing. The device effectively manages wound fluid, maintains optimal moisture, and non‐invasively delivers therapeutic drugs.

Ti6Al4V‐Bioglass‐Copper Composites for Load‐Bearing Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We have designed and manufactured a novel Ti64‐based composite by adding 45S5 bioglass (BG) and copper (Cu). Adding BG on titanium improves wear resistance and biocompatibility, whereas Cu addition improves mechanical strength while providing inherent lifelong bacterial resistance.

Melt Electrowriting High Resolution Poly(ethylene‐co‐vinyl acetate) Scaffolds for Soft Tissue Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work pioneers melt electrowriting (MEW) of polyethylene vinyl acetate (PEVA) to fabricate ultra‐compliant, high‐resolution scaffolds. By integrating microscale precision with soft tissue‐like biomechanics, PEVA overcomes stiffness‐driven limitations of conventional MEW polymers, establishing a mechanically biomimetic platform for soft tissue ...

MODERN STATE OF COMPROMISED ENDOCARDIAL ELECTRODE REMOVAL FOR ARRHYTHMIA ELECTROTHERAPY

open access: yesИнновационная медицина Кубани, 2019
Modem development of invasive arrhythmology is favorable for removal of problematic endocardial electrode removal in a great majority of cases. However such factors as increased average life expectancy of population, annual increase in absolute number of

Characterization of low‐grade epilepsy‐associated tumor from implanted stereoelectroencephalography electrodes

open access: yesEpilepsia Open
Low‐grade epilepsy‐associated tumors (LEATs) are a common cause of drug‐resistant epilepsy in children. Herein, we demonstrate the feasibility of using tumor tissue derived from stereoelectroencephalography (sEEG) electrodes upon removal to molecularly ...

Temporally Delayed Deployment of Photo‐Responsive Liquid Crystal Polymer Networks Toward Neural Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Deployable medical devices typically need external stimuli to trigger deployment. However, external stimuli are difficult to supply within tissues. Here, we describe a strategy to deploy small‐scale structures into soft tissues after insertion without the need for any stimulus. We demonstrate deployment within a tissue phantom.

Electro‐Stimulated Graphene‐Polymer Nanocomposites Enable Wearable Patches With Feedback‐Controlled Drug Release

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
xx xx. ABSTRACT Stimuli‐responsive nanomaterials capable of spatiotemporal control over drug release are of nanocomposite patch (“e‐Medi‐Patch”) engineered from biodegradable polycaprolactone (PCL), graphene nanoplatelets, and a redox‐active therapeutic, niclosamide. The hierarchical composite integrates π‐π interactions between aromatic drug molecules
