DC and AC electroluminescence in silicon nanoparticles embedded in silicon-rich oxide films [PDF]
Electroluminescent properties of silicon-rich oxide (SRO) films were studied using metal oxide semiconductor-(MOS)-like devices. Thin SRO films with 4 at.% of silicon excess were deposited by low pressure chemical vapour deposition followed by a thermal ...

Blue‐Emitting ZnSe(Te) Quantum Dots and Light‐Emitting Diodes
. ABSTRACT Zn‐based quantum dots (QDs) have been regarded as the most promising Cd‐free candidates for blue‐emitting applications. ZnSe QDs exhibit an ultra‐narrow full width at half maximum (FWHM), high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), and excellent environmental stability, making them ideal for blue‐violet emitters.

Fluorescence Tuning of Carbon Dots from Red to Blue via UV‐Induced Photochemical Etching
A UV‐driven photochemical process enables continuous color evolution of carbon dots from red to blue using a single irradiation parameter. Progressive photoetching restructures graphitic domains and surface states, allowing full visible‐spectrum emission control.

Dynamics of space charge and electroluminescence modelling in polyethylene
Space charge has been recognized as an important factor contributing to the electrical failure of the cable insulation. Extensive efforts have been made to investigate space charge dynamics within polymeric insulations under electric stresses.

Mixed‐Polymer Hole Transport Layers Reinforce Au‐Anode Top Emitting Perovskite Light Emitting Diodes
Au‐anode corrosion is shown to occur rapidly under voltage bias in MAPbI3 perovskite LEDs. Resulting Au+ migration quickly leads to device shorting and unstable emission during constant current driving. We demonstrate that using a simple mixed‐polymer hole transport layer containing polyTPD and PVK can reduce Au‐corrosion and stabilize LED operation ...

Octahedral (DFPD)6CdCl8:10%Sb and tetrahedral (DFPD)2CdCl4·H2O:5%Sb exhibit distinct luminescence dictated by coordination geometry. Solvent‐induced reversible phase transformation enables dynamic switching between yellow and deep‐orange emission. Combined experimental and computational studies elucidate the luminescence mechanisms, and the reversible ...

Quantitative Prediction of Power Loss for Damaged Photovoltaic Modules Using Electroluminescence
Electroluminescence (EL) is a powerful tool for the qualitative mapping of the electronic properties of solar modules, where electronic and electrical defects are easily detected. However, a direct quantitative prediction of electrical module performance
