Electromagnetic Transients and Modelling
2019Transients are the norms and the musts of the energy conversion in power electronics systems. Previous research is focused on the large-timescale electromagnetic transient processes, while neglecting short-timescale switching processes and stray parameters. When failure mechanisms of components and the enhancement of the power-conversion capability are

Accurate Frequency Dependent CableModel for Electromagnetic Transients
IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 2016This paper introduces a new frequency-dependent cable model for the simulation and analysis of electromagnetic transients. The model belongs to the traveling-wave class. The key feature of the proposed model is the correct representation of modal propagation function contributions in the phase domain.

Modeling hysteresis in electromagnetic transient studies
1995Abstract A hysteresis model is presented in this paper for electromagnetic transient analysis of power system network involving ferromagnetic elements. The major hysteresis loop is represented analytically and the minor hysteresis loops can be created automatically in terms of a displacement varying with nonlinearity.

Evaluation of Corona and Line Models in Electromagnetic Transients Simulations
IEEE Power Engineering Review, 1991The main purpose of this study is to make a comparative evaluation of the large number of available corona models in terms of their accuracy and suitability for interface with the EMTP (electromagnetic transients program). The recommended models have been interfaces with the standard frequency dependent transmission line model in the EMTP.
