Electromechanical coupling in polaronic ceria
Oxygen-defective metal oxides like cerium oxides exhibit giant electrostriction and field-induced piezoelectricity due to a dynamic electrosteric interplay between oxygen defects, ${\text{V}}_{\text{O}}^{ \cdot \cdot }$ , and the fluorite lattice.

Tunable Electromechanical Coupling Coefficient of a Laterally Excited Bulk Wave Resonator with Composite Piezoelectric Film. [PDF]
A resonator with an appropriate electromechanical coupling coefficient (Kt2) is crucial for filter applications in radio communication. In this paper, we present an effective method to tune the Kt2 of resonators by introducing different materials into a ...

High Electromechanical Coupling Coefficient of Longitudinally Excited Shear Wave Resonator Based on Optimized Bragg Structure [PDF]
In this work, a longitudinally excited shear-wave resonator (YBAR) based on single-crystalline lithium tantalate (LiTaO3, LT) thin film is proposed. The YBAR has a 200 nm X-cut thin film and molybdenum electrode.

Revealing the Giant Electromechanical Effects in Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia Single Crystal. [PDF]
Giant electromechanical responses are uncovered in yttria‐stabilized zirconia single crystal (SC‐YSZ), exhibiting pronounced orientation dependence. The giant electrostriction and piezoelectricity are directly correlated with the long‐range transport kinetics of oxygen vacancies.

Inversion-based control of electromechanical systems using causal graphical descriptions [PDF]
Causal Ordering Graph and Energetic Macroscopic Representation are graphical descriptions to model electromechanical systems using integral causality. Inversion rules have been defined in order to deduce control structure step-bystep from these graphical
