Cross Sections and Rate Coefficients for Rotational Excitation of HeH+ Molecule by Electron Impact
Cross sections for rotational excitation and de-excitation of the HeH+ ion by an electron impact are computed using a theoretical approach that combines the UK R-matrix code and the multi-channel quantum defect theory.

Electron impact excitation of rubidium
The electron energy-loss spectrum of rubidium at 40 eV and scattering angle 8? has been recorded. The noticeable features are analysed. Differential cross sections for the resonance excitation are determined.

S-wave model in electron-atom collisions [PDF]
This thesis discusses the theory and presents the numerical solution of the S-wave models of electron-hydrogen and electron-helium scattering. The Convergent Close-Coupling (CCC) method is used to obtain the numerical results.

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Theoretical study on electron impact excitation of Ne-like Fe16+ ion
The electron impact excitation (EIE) cross sections of Ne-like Fe16+ ion from the ground state 1s22s22p6 1S0 to high excited states 1s22s22p5ns, 1s22s2p6ns and 1s2s22p6ns (n=3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) are calculated systematically by using the fully ...

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Electronic Excitation of Molecules by Electron Impact
In this talk I will review the recent progress that has been made in the theoretical determination of differential and integral cross sections for the electronic excitation of molecules by low-energy electrons.

Differential cross sections for electron impact excitation of then= 2 states of helium at intermediate energies (80, 100 and 120 eV) measured across the complete angular scattering range (0–180°) [PDF]
Differential cross sections (DCS) for inelastic electron scattering to the n = 2 states in helium have been measured at incident energies of 80, 100 and 120 eV.

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...
