Research on image monitoring method of electron beam selection melting

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2019
Abstract In order to overcome the problem that the lack of real-time detection technology and the existing detection methods cannot select the process area flexibly in the process of electron beam selective melting, this paper presents a digital electronic imaging method which can monitor the roughness and tiny flaws on the surface of ...

Analysis on Defocusing and Astigmatism of Electron Beam Selective Melting Machines

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2020
Abstract Affected by defocusing and astigmatism, the quality of electron beam steadily deteriorated with increasing deflection distance, limiting the processing area of SEBM machines. The relationship among beam spot size, deflection distance and deflection direction are studied by numerical simulation, which explains the cause of ...

Engineering Deformation and Failure in Diamond Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Lattices via 3D Wall‐Thickness Grading

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The work demonstrates that strategic wall‐thickness grading in diamond triply periodic minimal surface lattices enables precise tuning of deformation and failure behavior under compression. Different gradation patterns guide how and where the structure collapses, improving energy absorption or promoting controlled brittle failure.

NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.
