MagPiezo: A Magnetogenetic Platform for Remote Activation of Endogenous Piezo1 Channels in Endothelial Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MagPiezo enables wireless activation of endogenous Piezo1 channels without genetic modification using 19 nm magnetic nanoparticles and low‐intensity magnetic fields. It generates torque forces at the piconewton scale to trigger mechanotransduction in endothelial cells, standing as a novel platform to interrogate and manipulate Piezo1 activity in vitro.

Laser Engineering of HfN‐Based Nanoparticles for Safe NIR‐I Photothermal and X‐ray Enhancing Cancer Therapies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, we produced HfN‐based nanoparticles via femtosecond laser ablation in acetone. The nanoparticles exhibit a red‐shifted plasmonic resonance in the NIR‐I window, colloidal stability after coating with polyethyleneglycol, and excellent biocompatibility. The photothermal and X‐ray sensitization therapeutic effects were demonstrated for tumor

Effect of Ion Concentration on Viscosity of Doped Alumina Suspensions for Electrophoretic Deposition

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Materials in Engineering, 2017
Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) weight is highly affected by electrophoretic mobility of powders in suspension. In theoretical aspect, electrophoretic mobility is influenced by suspension viscosity in opposite direction, and increasing in viscosity can ...

Influence of the electrophoretic deposition parameters on the formation of suspended graphene-based films

open access: yesMaterials & Design, 2018
In this paper we report on the one step formation of suspended graphene-based films, at micrometer scale, by electrophoretic deposition technology (EPD) starting from graphene oxide (GO) water suspensions and isolated graphite fibers as conductive ...

Color Routing and Beam Steering of Single‐Molecule Emission with a Spherical Silicon Nanoantenna

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We experimentally demonstrate broadband directional emission from single molecules using a single spherical silicon nanoparticle assembled via DNA origami. By varying nanoparticle (NP) size and emitter position, we achieve unidirectional emission, beam steering, and color routing at the nanoscale, revealing modal interference as the underlying ...

DNA‐Origami‐Assembled Rhodium Nanoantennas for Deep‐UV Label‐Free Single‐Protein Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Deep‐UV autofluorescence of single proteins in DNA origami‐based rhodium nanoantennas. Precisely positioned within the plasmonic nanogap, proteins retain their native state while their intrinsic emission is strongly amplified, enabling label‐free single‐molecule detection and opening new opportunities for highly sensitive and specific biosensing ...
