Acetylcholinesterase Inhibition and Antioxidant Activity of DHA-Disubstituted Phospholipids. [PDF]
1,2‐Di‐DHA‐PC phospholipids in nutraceutical form may cross the blood‐brain barrier and inhibit acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity, with an efficacy similar to galantamine. This suggests their potential as neuroprotective agents in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.

Molecular Forms of Electrophorus Acetylcholinesterase [PDF]
Molecular weights for the series of six Electrophorus acetylcholinesterase forms have been determined either by the sedimentation‐diffusion equilibrium method or, particularly in the case of the very scarce G′ and G″ forms, from their Stokes radius and sedimentation coefficient values. Both methods are in excellent agreement.

Functional Stoichiometry at the Nicotinic Receptor. The Photon Cross Section for Phase 1 Corresponds to Two Bis-Q Molecules per Channel [PDF]
These experiments examine changes in the agonist-induced conductance that occur when the agonist-receptor complex is perturbed. Voltage-clamped Electrophorus electroplaques are exposed to the photoisomerizable agonist trans-Bis-Q A 1-µs laser flash ...

New Terpenoids from Viguiera dentata: In Silico Pesticide-Likeness Properties, Acetylcholinesterase Inhibition, Molecular Docking, and Evaluation against Spodoptera frugiperda. [PDF]
The chemical analysis of aerial parts of the melliferous Viguiera dentata led to the isolation of 20 substances, including the new cycloartanes 24‐epi‐argentatin C, 7β‐hydroxy‐24‐epi‐argentatin C, 7β‐hydroxy‐argentatin B. In‐combo results indicated that specific argentatins and ent‐kaurenoic acids have the potential to control Spodoptera frugiperda ...

A photoisomerizable muscarinic antagonist. Studies of binding and of conductance relaxations in frog heart [PDF]
These experiments employ the photoisomerizable compound, 3,3'-bis- [alpha-(trimethylammonium)methyl]azobenzene (Bis-Q), to study the response to muscarinic agents in frog myocardium. In homogenates from the heart, trans-Bis-Q blocks the binding of [3H]-N-
