The AUTACE That Degrades KRAS and Engages CD8+ T Cells for the Treatment of KRAS/TP53 Co‐Mutant Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AUTACE is a bifunctional nanoplatform that integrates tumor targeting, immune engagement, and on‐demand KRAS degradation. It targets KRAS/TP53 co‐mutant tumors via TP53‐specific TCRs, elicits antitumor CD8+ T‐cell responses through surface anti‐CD3 antibodies, and uses low‐intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) to trigger controlled release of the KRAS ...

Oblique Bile Duct Predisposes to the Recurrence of Bile Duct Stones

open access: yes, 2013
BACKGROUND AND STUDY AIMS: Bile stones represent a highly prevalent condition and abnormalities of the biliary tree predispose to stone recurrence due to development of biliary stasis.

SMAD4 Palmitoylation Drives a Metabolic‐Transcriptional Circuit to Promote Tumorigenesis and Confers Radiosensitivity in Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies palmitoylation as a novel regulatory modification of SMAD4, mediated by ZDHHC22/APT2. It activates fatty acid synthesis, creating a self‐reinforcing SMAD4–FASN–palmitate feedback loop that drives pancreatic cancer growth and enhances radiotherapy sensitivity.

Differentiating Immunoglobulin G4-Related Sclerosing Cholangitis from Hilar Cholangiocarcinoma

open access: yesGut and Liver, 2013
Background/AimsFew studies have differentiated immunoglobulin G (IgG) 4-related sclerosing cholangitis (IgG4-SC) from hilar cholangiocarcinoma (CC). Thus, we sought to investigate useful features for differentiating IgG4-SC from hilar CC.Methods : We ...

Tumor‐Derived LAMB3 Drives Immunosuppressive LRRC15+ Fibroblast Formation During Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A single‐cell atlas of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma development reveals progressive ductal‐fibroblast‐immune crosstalk. Tumor‐derived LAMB3 drives the formation of immunosuppressive LRRC15+ fibroblasts through the ITGB1/FAK/MAPK/FOSL2 signaling. Glycolytic reprogramming upregulates LAMB3 and correlates with LRRC15+ fibroblast enrichment.

Fosl2 Regulates FSH‐Dependent Follicle Maturation Through Feedback Amplification of FSH/FSHR Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies a FOSL2‐driven positive feedback loop that amplifies FSH/FSHR signaling. During FSH‐dependent follicle maturation, FSH induces Fosl2 expression via the cAMP‐PKA‐CREB cascade. FOSL2 in turn binds the promoters of Fshr and estrogen‐biosynthesis genes to enhance their transcription, thereby increasing Fshr mRNA level and amplifying ...

Marked Alkaline Phosphatase Elevation with Partial Common Bile Duct Obstruction due to Calcific Pancreatitis

open access: yesGastroenterology, 1976
This study characterizes a syndrome of partial common bile duct obstruction and marked elevation in serum alkaline phosphatase in 6 male alcoholic patients with calcific pancreatitis. In each patient, a marked elevation in serum alkaline phosphatase was associated with minimal, if any, elevation in serum bilirubin.
