Heterostructured ferritic steels with bimodal-grained lamellar (BG-L) and ultrafine-grained lamellar (UFG-L) microstructure were prepared through a warm deformation process. The BG-L steel exhibits enhanced mechanical properties compared to conventional quenched and tempered (QT) steel.
