Nonreciprocal Spin Waves in Nanoscale Hybrid Néel–Bloch–Néel Domain Walls Detected by Scanning X‐Ray Microscopy in Perpendicular Magnetic Anisotropic Fe/Gd Multilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Using scanning transmission X‐ray microscopy, nonreciprocal spin‐wave behavior is revealed in real space in Fe/Gd multilayers with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy, highlighting their functionality for magnonic logic circuits operating at GHz frequencies.

Inverted PAINT for Material‐Specific Super‐Resolution Fluorescence Imaging of Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents Inverted PAINT, a label‐free super‐resolution fluorescence imaging method optimized for thick and non‐transparent semiconductor materials. By employing electrostatic dye–surface interactions in an inverted geometry, the technique enables material‐specific, multicolor, and 3D nanoscale imaging, with applications in semiconductor ...

How the Arrangement of Platinum Atoms on Ruthenium Nanoparticles Improves Hydrogen Evolution Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A synthetic strategy for the formation of Pt islands and their transformation into Pt atomic strings on Ru nanoparticle surfaces is presented. The thermodynamically favored configuration of Pt strings on Ru catalyst is demonstrated to catalyze HER via the faster Volmer–Tafel pathway with a significantly improved intrinsic activity, owing to the well ...

Harnessing the Potential of Dip‐Pen Nanolithography to Pattern Meta‐Chemical Surfaces with Glutathione Inks: An Electrochemical Sensor for Pb(II) and Hg(II)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Meta‐chemical surfaces for portable electrochemical sensors are developed using the DPN method. Sensitivity is influenced by the exposed surface, pattern pitch, and binding strength between the ligand and cations. Therefore, it can be regulated by altering these parameters, which is a significant result in the heavy‐metal sensor field.

Local Femtosecond Pulsed Laser Decoating of Superhydrophobic Paper Coating for Enhanced Fog Harvesting Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study investigates the enhancement of water harvesting efficiency on superhydrophobic paper by introducing pinning structures using femtosecond laser ablation. Surface wettability and water collection performance are evaluated through contact angle measurements, roll‐off analysis, and fogging tests.
