Correlating Mid‐Infrared Absorption With Radiative Efficiency in Passive Daytime Radiative Cooling Systems

We establish a correlation between the mid‐IR photonic response of Passive Daytime Radiative Cooling systems and their thermal radiation performances, characterized within a dedicated setup that simulates the irradiance toward outer space under controlled and reproducible conditions.

Synthesis of Borneol‐Polymers as Fluorescent Sensors for Pollutant Detection

ABSTRACT In this work, a borneol‐derived monomer was employed to synthesize two novel copolymers, poly(vinyl acetate‐co‐bornyl methacrylate) (CopBM‐1) and poly(p‐acryloyloxybenzaldehyde‐co‐bornyl methacrylate) (CopBM‐2), via radical copolymerization. Both copolymers demonstrated aggregation‐induced emission in DMF at concentrations exceeding 0.04 wt.%.

NKX2‐1 Downstream Regulatory Structural Variants Explain a Substantial Proportion of Molecular Diagnoses in Patients With Benign Hereditary Chorea

Abstract Background NKX2‐1–related disorders (NKX2‐1‐RDs) classically present with a triad of neurological, endocrine, and pulmonary manifestations, including benign hereditary chorea. However, in a fraction of patients, NKX2‐1 coding variants are not detected, and variants outside the NKX2‐1 locus have been reported.

Designing γ‐TiAl Alloys With Refined Twin‐Lamellar Microstructures via Machine Learning‐Driven Phase‐Field Methods

Dual‐phase γ‐TiAl alloys with refined twin‐lamellar (RTL) structures exhibit optimal strength‐ductility synergy. Here, phase‐field simulations reveal composition‐stress‐dependent refined twin‐lamellar (RTL) microstructure evolution. Machine learning (CatBoost + NSGA‐III) trained on phase‐field images predicts optimal RTL‐stress‐composition design space.

ABSTRACT Caring for others is a core goal of nursing staff, but providing inadequate care can lead to feelings of guilt which might result in heightened levels of stress. However, self‐compassion might function as a buffer, since it can help to cope with feelings of guilt.
