Embedding Drama Pedagogy for Wellbeing Literacy: Children's Dispositions for Collective Creativity and Ethical Action

open access: yesLiteracy, Volume 60, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Attainment‐focused policy often reduces literacy to measurable outcomes, overlooking the communicative, embodied and relational practices through which meaning is made. This paper examines how drama pedagogy can expand literacy as a collective practice that supports wellbeing, belonging and democratic participation.

Cell Adhesion by Design: Engineering Tissue Culture Scaffolds With Adhesion Cues

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 13, 7 July 2026.
ABSTRACT In scaffold‐based tissue engineering, the matrix should provide adequate adhesion cues for cell attachment, spreading, and function. Given the multitude of adhesion receptors and the diversity of scaffolds, there are many approaches to render scaffolds adhesive, even though they are not all equivalent.

Integration of cross-species multi-omics with in vivo experimental validation identifies Parkinson's disease therapeutic targets and novel risk factors within endolysosomal pathway subnetworks

open access: yesNeurobiology of Disease
Parkinson's disease (PD), the most common neurodegenerative movement disorder, imposes a growing healthcare and socioeconomic burden worldwide. A defining hallmark of PD is the accumulation of α-synuclein (αSyn) within intracellular inclusions such as ...

Odor–visual and visual–visual matching to sample with dogs

open access: yesJournal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, Volume 126, Issue 1, July 2026.
Abstract Matching‐to‐sample (MTS) procedures are commonly employed to study learning and behavior, but they have rarely been used with dogs. One MTS procedure that might have applied and experimental value is an odor–visual matching procedure in which selection of a specific visual stimulus is reinforced following exposure to a specific odor.

Effect of Small‐Quantity Lipid‐Based Nutrient Supplementation on Children's Cortisol Concentration

open access: yesMaternal &Child Nutrition, Volume 22, Issue 3, July 2026.
ABSTRACT This study investigated the role of early‐life nutrition supplementation in regulating the development of hypothalamic‐pituitary‐adrenal (HPA) axis activity, as evidenced by hair cortisol concentration (HCC), in the iLiNS‐DYAD randomized controlled trial in Ghana.

Impact of Elastin-like Protein Temperature Transition on PEG-ELP Hybrid Hydrogel Properties [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Biomaterial hydrogels are made by cross-linking either natural materials, which exhibit inherent bioactivity but suffer from batch-to-batch variations, or synthetic materials, which have a well-defined chemical structure but usually require chemical ...

Enzymatic Prenylation of Proteins and Peptides: From Cysteine S‐Prenylation to Tryptophan‐Selective Biocatalysis

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 24, 23 June 2026.
This review highlights biocatalytic prenylation as a versatile strategy for tailoring the functional properties of peptides and proteins. By comparing branched isoprenoids with linear lipids, we illustrate how specific prenyl architectures modulate the behaviors of lipidated proteins within membrane environments.
