Dynamic Analysis of ELR Retractor Spoolout

SAE Technical Paper Series, 2001
<div class="htmlview paragraph">Contemporary production emergency locking seatbelt retractors (ELRs) have been proven very effective in the crash environment for which they have been primarily designed and most adequately tested, that is, in the full frontal crash mode.

ELR opinion issue 3 2016

Environmental Law Review, 2016
Brexit will have major implications for land use and the natural environment. The way in which we currently use the land resource is conditioned by the common agricultural policy (‘CAP’). Withdrawal from the CAP will offer opportunities to develop new policies to promote biodiversity and address pollution. This opinion examines the issues.

Novel anti‐angiogenic peptides derived From ELR‐containing CXC chemokines

Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, 2008
AbstractAngiogenesis is tightly regulated by numerous endogenous pro‐ and anti‐angiogenic proteins and peptides. Among these are the CXC chemokines, a set of multifunctional peptides. CXC chemokines containing the ELR motif act as pro‐angiogenic agents by regulating both endothelial cell proliferation and migration. Here we show that a set of six 22–24‐

Enhanced Logistic Regression (ELR) Model for Big Data

2020
Regression model is an important tool for modeling and analyzing data. In this chapter, the proposed model comprises three phases. The first phase concentrates on sampling techniques to get best sample for building the regression model. The second phase is to predict the residual of logistic regression (LR) model using time series analysis method ...

The ratio of ELR+ to ELR− CXC chemokines affects the lung and liver injury following hepatic ischemia/reperfusion in the rat

Hepatology, 2000
Hepatic ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) results in a neutrophil-dependent lung and liver injury. The process of neutrophil recruitment and activation in this injury is at least partially dependent on the presence of the ELR+ CXC chemokines.

Total precedence languages and ELR(1)-languages

USSR Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, 1975
Abstract A CONNECTION is established between classes of ELR(l)-grammars, introduced in [1], and the total precedence grammars (TP-grammars). It is shown that the set of ELR(l)-grammars (languages) includes the set of TP-grammars (languages). The methods of ELR(1) parsing and TP-parsing are compared.

‘Elred‘: new water for London from old assets

Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers - Civil Engineering, 2008
The east London resource development project (‘Elred’) is a much-needed new urban water supply scheme created largely from redundant assets. It consists of a wellfield, a connecting raw-water pipeline network and a treatment works; with a capacity up to 23 Ml/day, in the heart of the UK capital.

Mechanotransduction via the elastin–laminin receptor (ELR) in resistance arteries

Journal of Biomechanics, 2003
The arterial wall is composed of dynamically interacting cellular and acellular components that are necessary for the maintenance of vessel homeostasis. Two extracellular proteins in the vessel wall, elastin and laminin, play important structural roles.
