Twisted MoS2 Bilayers as Functional Elements in Memtransistors: Hysteresis, Optical Signatures, and Photocurrent Kinetics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Layered 2D materials are considered as promising for memristive applications due to their ultimate vertical scalability compared to conventional semiconductor films and pronounced hysteresis properties. Bias‐resolved Raman and Photoluminescence mapping is used to quantify strain from phonon shifts and carrier density from the exciton‐trion ...

Warped product Einstein metrics on homogeneous spaces and homogeneous Ricci solitons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper we consider connections between Ricci solitons and Einstein metrics on homogeneous spaces. We show that a semi-algebraic Ricci soliton admits an Einstein one-dimensional extension if the soliton derivation can be chosen to be normal.

Impact of aromatic residues on the intrinsic disorder and transitional behaviour of model IDPs

open access: yesMaterials Today Bio, 2022
Understanding the interplay between order and disorder in intrinsically disorder proteins (IDPs), and its impact on the properties and features of materials manufactured from them, is a major challenge in the design of protein-based synthetic polymers ...

Multi‐omic profiling reveals immune cell priming signature linked to lupus prognosis

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Accepted Article.
Objective Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multi‐organ disease with widespread immune dysregulation and significant unmet clinical need. Blood‐based gene expression studies have advanced our understanding of SLE pathogenesis but may overlook critical tissue‐specific mechanisms that drive disease heterogeneity and progression.

Probabilistic Multi‐Objective Energy Management System Model for an Energy Hub With PtG Technology for Cost Reduction and System Flexibility Improvement

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Overview of the under‐study hub energy model showing the energy conversion and distribution among integrated sources and loads. ABSTRACT In this paper, a probabilistic bi‐objective energy management system (EMS) model is proposed for an energy hub (EH) equipped with renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic and wind turbine connected to the main ...

Ambulatory electrocardiogram monitoring devices for evaluating transient loss of consciousness or other related symptoms

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, 2017
Capturing electrocardiograms (ECGs) during spontaneous events is the most powerful available tool to identify or exclude an arrhythmic cause of symptoms, and often can elucidate the definite diagnosis for different conditions, such as transient loss of ...

The evaluation of eosinophil-to-lymphocyte, eosinophil-toneutrophil, and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratios in adults with allergic/non-allergic rhinitis

open access: yesGülhane Tıp Dergisi, 2023
Aims:This study investigated the usefulness of inflammatory parameters such as eosinophilto-lymphocyte ratio (ELR), eosinophil-to-neutrophil ratio (ENR), and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratios (NLR) as markers for the diagnosis of patients with allergic ...
