2021 IEEE International Workshop Technical Committee on Communications Quality and Reliability (CQR 2021), 2021
The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) organization has considered Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communications (URLLC)’s low latency requirement and spectrum resources shortage. So it has proposed a multiplexing enhanced Mobile Broad Band (eMBB) and URLLC method based on puncturing.

Use Cases and Standardisation Activities for eMBB and V2X Scenarios
2020 IEEE International Conference on Communications Workshops (ICC Workshops), 2020The H2020 project 5G-DRIVE (5G HarmoniseD Research and TrIals for serVice Evolution between EU and China) cooperates with the Chinese twin project to trial and validate key functions of 5G networks operating at 3.5 GHz bands for enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) and 3.5 GHz & 5.9 GHz bands for V2X scenarios.

uRLLC Shadowing Estimation in eMBB-uRLLC Multiplexing for Geospatially Correlated PPP Channel
IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, 2022This work investigates eMBB-uRLLC multiplexing in which the eMBB users’ channel feedback is exploited for the uRLLC channel condition estimation. This approach allows instant and reliable transmission without acquiring the user’s CSI, which is especially advantageous in intermittent uRLLC traffic transmissions.

Resource Allocation for eMBB/URLLC Coexistence in Massive MIMO Industrial Automation
IEEE Internet of Things JournalEnhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) and ultrareliable low-latency communications (URLLCs) are two critical service types in industrial automation. In a closed-loop control system, device-to-device (D2D) communication is typically employed for direct ...

Resource Scheduling for eMBB and URLLC Multiplexing in NOMA-Based VANETs: A Dual Time-Scale Approach
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular TechnologyEnhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) and ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) are two critical services in vehicular networks. However, the presence of both services creates a difficult resource allocation problem due to their heterogeneous ...
