Embedding Unimodular Gravity in string theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
Unimodular Gravity is a theory displaying Weyl rescalings of the metric and transverse (volume-preserving) diffeomorphisms as gauge symmetries, as opposed to the full set of diffeomorphisms displayed by General Relativity.

Local Potential Functional Embedding Theory: A Self-Consistent Flavor of Density Functional Theory for Lattices without Density Functionals

open access: yesComputation, 2022
Quantum embedding is a divide and conquer strategy that aims at solving the electronic Schrödinger equation of sizeable molecules or extended systems.

Density Matrix Embedding: A Strong-Coupling Quantum Embedding Theory [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Theory and Computation, 2013
We extend our density matrix embedding theory (DMET) [Phys. Rev. Lett. 109 186404 (2012)] from lattice models to the full chemical Hamiltonian. DMET allows the many-body embedding of arbitrary fragments of a quantum system, even when such fragments are open systems and strongly coupled to their environment (e.g., by covalent bonds).

How community-based organizations contribute to social governance in China? A qualitative study base embedding theory [PDF]

open access: yesSHS Web of Conferences, 2023
From the perspective of embedding theory, this paper discusses the theoretical appropriateness of embedding community-based organizations in grass-roots governance under the framework of existing models such as "two-way embedding", and proposes the path ...

The embedding theorems for anisotropic Nikol’skii-Besov spaces with generalized mixed smoothness [PDF]

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2021
The theory of embedding of spaces of differentiable functions studies the important relations of differential (smoothness) properties of functions in various metrics and has a wide application in the theory of boundary value problems of ...

The theorems about traces and extensions for functions from Nikolsky-Besov spaces with generalized mixed smoothness [PDF]

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2022
The theory of embedding of spaces of differentiable functions studies important relations of differential (smoothness) properties of functions in various metrics and has wide application in the theory of boundary value problems of mathematical ...

Vibrational embedding theory

open access: yesThe Journal of Chemical Physics, 2023
We suggest a consistent framework for the embedding of reduced-space correlated vibrational wave functions in a potential of the remaining modes and generalize this concept to arbitrary many subspaces. We present an implementation of this framework for vibrational coupled-cluster theory and response treatments.

Weak Field Limit for Embedding Gravity

open access: yesUniverse, 2022
We study a perturbation theory for embedding gravity equations in a background for which corrections to the embedding function are linear with respect to corrections to the flat metric.

Nontrivial Isometric Embeddings for Flat Spaces

open access: yesUniverse, 2021
Nontrivial isometric embeddings for flat metrics (i.e., those which are not just planes in the ambient space) can serve as useful tools in the description of gravity in the embedding gravity approach.
