Generalized Self-Energy Embedding Theory [PDF]
Ab initio quantum chemistry calculations for systems with large active spaces are notoriously difficult and cannot be successfully tackled by standard methods. In this letter, we generalize a Green's function QM/QM embedding method called self-energy embedding theory (SEET) that has the potential to be successfully employed to treat large active spaces.

Quantum Theory is a Quasi-stochastic Process Theory [PDF]
There is a long history of representing a quantum state using a quasi-probability distribution: a distribution allowing negative values. In this paper we extend such representations to deal with quantum channels. The result is a convex, strongly monoidal,

Input Rationality Analysis of Three Degree of freedom Parallel Mechanism with Limbs of Embedding Structures [PDF]
Three degrees of freedom (3-DoF) parallel mechanism (PM) with limbs of embedding structures is a kind of PM with a coupling relationship between limbs.

Cryptographic Secrecy Analysis of Matrix Embedding [PDF]
For good security and large payload in information hiding, matrix embedding is a popular method for increasing the embedding efficiency. This paper analyzes the security of matrix embedding against cryptanalytic attacks.

Intersection Theory of Linear Embeddings [PDF]
We study intersection theoretic properties of subschemes defined by ideal sheaves of linear type in particular their behavior with respect to blowups and segre classes.

The embedding of a curved spacetime in a higher-dimensional flat spacetime has continued to be a topic of interest in the general theory of relativity, as exemplified by the induced-matter theory.

We introduce embedded mean-field theory (EMFT), an approach that flexibly allows for the embedding of one mean-field theory in another without the need to specify or fix the number of particles in each subsystem. EMFT is simple, is well-defined without recourse to parameters, and inherits the simple gradient theory of the parent mean-field theories. In

ECSS: High-Embedding-Capacity Audio Watermarking with Diversity Reception
Digital audio watermarking is a promising technology for copyright protection, yet its low embedding capacity remains a challenge for widespread applications. In this paper, the spread-spectrum watermarking algorithm is viewed as a communication channel,

Advances in metric embedding theory
The paper contains numerous improvements of the existing results on embeddings of metric spaces into Banach spaces. Many of these improvements are motivated by applications. One of the directions in which the existing results are improved is the following: many of the known results estimate the worst-case distortion, that is, if we restrict to non ...

The embedding problem in iteration theory
This is a survey paper on selected topics concerning the embeddability of given mappings in real flows. Particular attention will be paid to the relationship between the problem of the embeddability and functional equations.Let X be a
