Teaching EMC using an EMC demonstration unit [PDF]
When teaching electromagnetics, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and printed circuit board (PCB) design, it is important to bridge the gap between theory and practice. This paper describes several demonstrative real-life aspects of a developed up-to-date EMC demonstration unit and contrived lab exercises.

EMC modeling and simulation on chiplevel [PDF]
S.1191-1196Due to increasing demands for reduced electromagnetic emission on chip-level in combination with more complex circuits and faster design cycles, it is mandatory to spend effort on EMC models and simulation for chip design.

EMC issues of electric drives in automotive applications [PDF]
From the EMC point of view, the integration of electric drive systems into today's cars represents a substantial challenge. The electric drive system is a new component consisting of a highvoltage power source, a frequency converter, an electric motor ...

Universality of the EMC effect [PDF]
Using effective field theory, we investigate nuclear modification of nucleon parton distributions (for example, the EMC effect). We show that the universality of the shape distortion in nuclear parton distributions (the factorisation of the Bjorken x and atomic number (A) dependence) is model independent and emerges naturally in effective field theory.

Characterization of the absorbing material used in EMC experiments [PDF]
S.774-777This paper deals with the modelling of the pyramid absorber wall commonly used in EMC experiments. The absorber material is characterized by coaxial line measurements in the frequency range from 20 MHz to 1.7 GHz.

Evaluation of Spectral Estimation Parameters for Direct Sampling FFT-Based Measuring Receivers
The standard CISPR 16-1-1 defines the measuring receiver using a black-box approach and sets requirements for its accuracy and spectral properties. Traditionally, such test receivers were developed using a superheterodyne architecture.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.
