Stereoselectivity of actions of the calcium sensitizer [+]-EMD 60263 and its enantiomer [-]-EMD 60264

Naunyn-Schmiedeberg's Archives of Pharmacology, 1997
The thiadiazinone derivative [+]-EMD 60263 ((+)-5-(l-(alpha-ethylimino-3,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrah ydroquinoline -6-yl)-6-methyl-3,6-dihydro-2H-1,3,4 -thiadiazine-2-on) is a Ca(2+)-sensitizing agent with only minor phosphodiesterase inhibitory activity.

Three Thiadiazinone Derivatives, EMD 60417, EMD 66430, and EMD 66398, with Class III Antiarrhythmic Activity but Different Electrophysiologic Profiles

Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology, 2001
The thiadiazinone derivatives EMD 60417, EMD 66430, and EMD 66398 were developed as class III antiarrhythmic agents. Their chemical structure is closely related to that of their calcium-sensitizing congener [+]-EMD 60263, and EMD 66398 possesses the methylsulfonylaminobenzoyl moiety present in the prototypical IKr blocker E-4031.

EMD based clear recursive thresholding (EMD-CRT) for speech enhancement

2015 International Conference on Signal Processing, Computing and Control (ISPCC), 2015
In this paper, a novel speech enhancement approach was proposed to improve the quality of the speech contaminated with various types of non-stationary noises. An EMD based clear recursive thresholding (EMD-CRT) approach was proposed in this approach, inspired by wavelet thresholding. This approach performs the thresholding operation on the noisy speech

Evaluation of the EMD end effect and a window based method to improve EMD

International Technology and Innovation Conference 2006 (ITIC 2006), 2006
The end effect is a key shortcoming of the empirical mode decomposition (EMD). On the sifting process, the upper and lower envelop can have large swing. The end effect leads to fake components and an over-estimated energy of the signal using EMD. A relative deviation of the true signal energy and the IMFs energy after EMD has been developed to evaluate

Technology evaluation: EMD-273063, EMD Lexigen.

Current opinion in molecular therapeutics, 2005
EMD-273063 is an antibody/cytokine fusion protein comprised of a humanized version of the murine anti-GD2 antibody 14.18 coupled to two molecules of IL-2. It is being developed by EMD Lexigen Research Center Corp (a subsidiary of Merck KGaA) and its sister company, EMD Pharmaceuticals Inc, for the potential treatment of neuroblastoma and melanoma, for ...
