2023Abstract The chapter presents findings on childhood trauma, attachment style, alexithymia, and cognition in DDD. Childhood maltreatment is common in DDD, especially in the form of emotional abuse and/or neglect. Insecure attachment styles are common in people with the disorder, with a predominance of fearful attachment.
