Lymphology, 1989Excepting sperm, lymphocytes are the most motile cells within and outside of the body in mammals. In the body, lymphocytes are the primary victims of the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). This photo-essay illustrates that migrant lymphocytes outside of the body are the primary vectors of AIDS spread.

[Aggressive emperipolesis in chronic hepatitis (author's transl)].
Klinische Wochenschrift, 1976The penetration and destruction of hepatocytes by lymphocytes (aggressive emperipolesis) has been described and examined quantitatively in biopsy specimens of chronic hepatitis. In 48 cases of chronic persistent hepatitis, the aggressive emperipolesis was rare and, obviously, not of great importance: sometimes there was no emperipolesis at all.
