Supervisory orientation and employees' morale

The present study attempts to find out the differential effects of supervisory behaviour on morale of blue‐collar workers ( n = 200). The ‘Supervisor's Orientation Schedule’ was specially designed to determine employee‐oriented and production‐oriented styles of supervision.

Employee Orientation and Job Satisfaction Among Professional Employees in Hospitals

Journal of Management, 1978
This study examines the relationship between job satisfaction and employee orientations of professionals in small rural hospitals. Organizational loyalty, peer loyalty and professional identification were used as predictors. Organizational loyalty was found to be the predominate orientation predicting job satisfaction.
