This paper presents the modelling and simulation of the Photovoltaic (PV) system using Electro-Magnetic Transient Program, EMTP-ATPDraw. The PV generator model including PV characteristic curves, filter and inverter models are also presented. The currents from PV behind the inverter with different loads are also compared.

Based on block scheme of a digital turbine control system, a novel EMTP-RV model of hydraulic digital governor for stability studies has been developed.
