Engineered microparticle topographies direct human mesenchymal stem cell osteogenesis without biochemical additives. This osteogenic commitment is driven by canonical Hedgehog signaling and followed by temporal IGF‐II engagement. Two‐photon polymerization demonstrates spatial control, enabling the engineering of topographical gradients that pattern ...

Synthesis and Photocatalytic Performance of TiO2-CNT and Magnetized Fe3O4-TiO2-CNT Multifunctional Hybrids: A Pickering Emulsion Platform for Organic Degradation [PDF]
The oil and textile industries produce billions of gallons of wastewater containing toxic, and sometimes carcinogenic or mutagenic, chemicals that often disperse throughout wastewater as suspended oil droplets.

The biomimetic nanoplatform IMNP (ETS1 pDNA/PBAE@ITP‐MM) undergoes targeted disassembly at inflammatory vascular sites to release the ETS1 plasmid (pETS1). This release initiates a cascade of effects that inhibit pathogenic pathways and support immune homeostasis. (Abbreviations: EndMT, endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition; EC, endothelial cell; TC, T

Improving the Physico-mechanical Properties of Extruded Rice Based on Mixed Rice-quinoa Flours Using Pickering Emulsion-filled Gel Containing Beta-carotene [PDF]
IntroductionRice is a strategic product and considered as staple food of over half of the world's population particularly in Iran. Considering the high levels of rice waste, including broken grains or those of lower quality, it can be utilized for ...

Kinetic pathways of multi-phase surfactant systems
The relaxation following a temperature quench of two-phase (lamellar and sponge phase) and three-phase (lamellar, sponge and micellar phase) samples, has been studied in an SDS/octanol/brine system.

Emulsions stabilised by whey protein microgel particles: Towards food-grade Pickering emulsions [PDF]
We have investigated a new class of food-grade particles, whey protein microgels, as stabilisers of triglyceride-water emulsions. The sub-micron particles stabilized oil-in-water emulsions at all pH with and without salt.

A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

Shear Mediated Elongational Flow and Yielding in Soft Glassy Materials
In this work, we study the deformation behavior of thin films of various soft glassy materials that are simultaneously subjected to two creep flow fields, rotational shear flow by applying torque and elongational flow by applying normal force.
